Chuck out ya chintz

I never normally shop in Tesco but last night I popped in for a wander (yes, I am sad and actually like wandering around supermarkets!) and found lot's of lovely stuff! Which, to be honest, did surprise a good way of course :) Out of the corner of my eye I spotted this and knew I had to have it and for £8 I really couldn't resist!!

It's perfect for either day or night and fit's a lot more in than it looks :)

Defiantly will be browsing Tesco's clothes in future!

It's the little things we do

Girls night in

Me and my friends treated ourselves to a little spa break to the Cottons Hotel in Knutsford, not far from where we live :)

I had an a-mez-ing time! It was a Sex and The City weekend and we got free use of the pool area, sauna/steam room, jacuzzi and gym as well as a massive tapas meal, free Cosmopolitans, goody bag, popcorn, ice cream and cupcakes...nomnomnom! All for £80! We spent most of the time just relaxing in the outside jacuzzi and the pool. It was good just to be away from the world and chill out. Plus I've not laughed so much in a looong time. Just what I needed!

The mirror above my friends bed...very random :s

Roses are red...

Roses are red, Violets are blue.

This is my first go at making my own rings, I stayed simple but am pretty happy with how they have turned out :)

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside...

Me and my friend Paula had a fabulous, fun filled day out to Blackpool today! I admit I love Blackpool, just for the fact it's cheesy and tacky. That's what makes it so great :)

We braved the rides, played in the sea and got scared to death in the Haunted House. I also ate faaaar too much pick n mix and ache from head to toe, but I love it :)

Squeaky clean part deux!

So in my last post I told you about my recent purchases and well I've been trying them for the past week and thought I'd let you know how I'm getting on.

Now I can officially say I am in love with Soap & Glory! It smells so yummy and delicious :)...I used the scrub, body wash and moisturiser in the morning and could still smell it later on that night. It smells so lovely and ha, I couldn't stop smelling myself. The scrub has been really good at making my skin smooth and the body was goes on so nicely. It's nice and creamy and does actually leave the skin soft. The moisturiser did make my skin feel nice and soft but beware you only need the tiniest bit! I used far too much at first and was rubbing it in for a good hour, oops! I will defiantly be buying from Soap & Glory again.

I also bought a few things from the Lee Stafford range (god bless Boots and their 3 for 2 offers!)

The overnight conditioner I've tried a couple of times and it does leave my hair feeling super soft and lovely. It's good as it dries onto your hair so doesn't create a mess or feel greasy when you're in bed, it also smells really, really nice too :)
If like me you have frizzy, fly away hair that you just CAN'T do anything with when you've washed it then Solution Spray is for you! It actually tames unruly hair and makes it a lot more manageable on them just washed days. Just spray it onto damp hair then dry and style as normal. I'll defiantly be using this regularly. The Sea Salt spray on the other hand I'm not overly impressed with, but I think with a bit more practice I will start to like it :)

Squeaky clean

Now, believe it or not but I've never used Soap & Glory before! I'm always enticed by the packaging whenever I walk past it but I've just never got around to buying any of their products :o So on a trip to Boots today I decided to treat myself to a few things, plus the 3 for 2 offer made it even harder to resist ;)

I've not had chance to use them yet but will defiantly let you know how they are!

I also got drawn into the hair isle and instantly attracted to the Lee Stafford products, I blame the bright pink'ness I really do! I use to use Lee Stafford products a lot especially the deep conditioners and heat protection spray. Lately though I've not really bought much from the range. So I ended up buying these...

I'm currently sat here with the overnight treatment on as we speak, getting super soft hair! I have to say it smells proper lush. The other two products I've not tried yet but I'm quite excited too :)
The Solution Spray will come in really handy, my hair is so awful to manage when it's freshly washed. I tend not to wash my hair much as it makes it just so frizzy and urgh, so only really wash in 2-3 times a week. But it's awful to do anything with at least the day after washing it so hopefully this will solve that. You spray it onto freshly washed hair and it makes it less frizzy and more manageable, yay! No more frizz ball hair!

I've read a lot about Salt Spray on blogs and in magazines but never actually used it myself, I think because whenever I've tried to go for the naturally curly look I always end up looking like I've had some kind of bad 80's perm. Not.A.Good.Look!! It says you can use it on dry hair as well as wet so I think I'll try that first, try and achieve some sexy beach style waves. Try being the main work here, god knows how it will turn out haha. If anyone has any tips on using Salt Spray then I would very much appreciate them! :)

I also got super excited today when I arrived home to find Mr Postie had delivered a parcel for me! I love receiving parcels in the post, even if I'm expecting something I still get ever so happy and giddy when it arrives (yes I am sad!) :)

I opened it up and this is what I found...

My Love Hearts and Crosses Lucky Dip bag! How cute is that little sticker?! For £10 you get a bag of surprises worth a lot more than £10. I love things like this, I love the suspense of opening the bag and not knowing what's inside, the surprise of discovering the goodies inside :) And here's what was inside of mine...

I love the little wings necklace, very cute!
