Squeaky clean

Now, believe it or not but I've never used Soap & Glory before! I'm always enticed by the packaging whenever I walk past it but I've just never got around to buying any of their products :o So on a trip to Boots today I decided to treat myself to a few things, plus the 3 for 2 offer made it even harder to resist ;)

I've not had chance to use them yet but will defiantly let you know how they are!

I also got drawn into the hair isle and instantly attracted to the Lee Stafford products, I blame the bright pink'ness I really do! I use to use Lee Stafford products a lot especially the deep conditioners and heat protection spray. Lately though I've not really bought much from the range. So I ended up buying these...

I'm currently sat here with the overnight treatment on as we speak, getting super soft hair! I have to say it smells proper lush. The other two products I've not tried yet but I'm quite excited too :)
The Solution Spray will come in really handy, my hair is so awful to manage when it's freshly washed. I tend not to wash my hair much as it makes it just so frizzy and urgh, so only really wash in 2-3 times a week. But it's awful to do anything with at least the day after washing it so hopefully this will solve that. You spray it onto freshly washed hair and it makes it less frizzy and more manageable, yay! No more frizz ball hair!

I've read a lot about Salt Spray on blogs and in magazines but never actually used it myself, I think because whenever I've tried to go for the naturally curly look I always end up looking like I've had some kind of bad 80's perm. Not.A.Good.Look!! It says you can use it on dry hair as well as wet so I think I'll try that first, try and achieve some sexy beach style waves. Try being the main work here, god knows how it will turn out haha. If anyone has any tips on using Salt Spray then I would very much appreciate them! :)

I also got super excited today when I arrived home to find Mr Postie had delivered a parcel for me! I love receiving parcels in the post, even if I'm expecting something I still get ever so happy and giddy when it arrives (yes I am sad!) :)

I opened it up and this is what I found...

My Love Hearts and Crosses Lucky Dip bag! How cute is that little sticker?! For £10 you get a bag of surprises worth a lot more than £10. I love things like this, I love the suspense of opening the bag and not knowing what's inside, the surprise of discovering the goodies inside :) And here's what was inside of mine...

I love the little wings necklace, very cute!

I keep trying to lose weight... but it keeps finding me

1) So the diet commences! 18 weeks till my summer holiday I am far from ready to don a bikini...I'd look like Shamu has invaded the beach if I wore one now. Not a good look. So healthy eating, exercise, exercise and more exercise. And unfortunately I shall be boring you lot with my progress :p

2) 2011 is looking to be a good year so far, Sex and the City spa night next month, holiday in June...hopefully a few weekend jaunts to Edinburgh and York. I am very much looking forward to what this year has to offer.

Till I can make it my own

I'm living so far beyond my income that we may almost be said to be living apart

1) I've come to the conclusion that I really NEED to be saving money, I spend faaar too much! If it's not jewellery then it's clothes or make up. So I'm going to be brave and cut back, resisting all the lovely things that Topshop, River Island and MAC have to offer :( Also this is a good excuse to crack on with making my own jewellery and also to use up the mountains of beauty products I have accumulated but never gotten around to using! Seriously I could stock up Boots I have that much ;o

If anybody has any good money saving tips then I would really like to hear them! :)

2) I've rediscovered my love for all things crafty. Now I like to think I am amazing at anything craft related, but in all honestly I'm pretty crap! So I'm making it my mission to become at least half decent at something. I'm going to teach myself how to knit, crotchet and cross stitch! Woo, go me! Ha, I think I may be turning into my nana, I'll be crocheting everyone granny squares and knitting bad jumpers! When pay day finally decides to show it's face (it feels like a LONG time since last pay day!) I'm going to make a trip to Hobbycraft and buy lot's of nice crafty things. I can't lie I have a love for Hobbycraft, it makes me feel all giddy and skippy as I wander around the isles looking at all the things I wish I could make!

004

I bought these the other day and got ever so excited about all the things I could start making, although I think I'm getting just a little ambitious at wanting to knit a jumper already :s

Diamonds are a girl's best friend and a man's worst enemy

I'm really on a roll with this jewellery making, I am actually quite enjoying it. Although I really do have a lot of room for improvement...but like they say practice makes perfect :)

Here's a few other little things I've made...
