Winter Woollies :)

It's that time again, time to get out the hats and scarves and wrap up warm against the winter chill! I decided it was time to treat myself to some new winter accessories have to say I am in love with River Islands hats and scarves :) The panda hat is especially cute...

After much deliberating and obviously trying on everything I decided on this one...

(Sorry about the rubbishness of the photo)

Practical yet stylish, I think you'll agree ;) I am loving this trend at the moment and how handy having a hat and scarf combo where the scarf is actually attached! Defiantly a good idea, especially for me who has a habit of loosing everything.

I also bought this yesterday after a friend recommended it

Maybelline Super Stay Colour, it claims to last up to 18 hours. I have to say it really did! I normally use Benefit Benetint Lip & Cheek Tint but I'm slowly running out and found that it doesn't always last long and you have to put lot's on to get a nice colour. So I've been on the hunt for something new, I suffer from quite dry lips and found lip sticks just look flaky and horrible on me :( But this it different it's nice and moisturising and gives a really nice colour. You apply the colour and wait for it to dry then put on the top coat. This gives it a nice gloss and makes sure it stays put. I didn't need to reapply it at all throughout the night! For £5.99 I am very impressed!

Here's the result....

Only problem is I'm having difficulty getting it off now! Ha, looks like I'll have permanent red lips!

All Hallow's Eve...

I love it, an excuse to dress up! Who doesn't?! What is everyone doing? Fancy dress parties? Trick or treating? Scary movie marathon anyone?

Me, well I'm out for a friends birthday on the Saturday night. Fancy dress of course ;) Party then a night out on the tiles, dancing the night away. Everyone is going as the usual witches, zombies, naughty nurse....I'm being the Queen of Hearts! Ha, the least scariest outfit ever, although I have to admit rather short and, dare I say it, slutty too...eek! Ah well if you can't dress up like that this time of year when can you?!

So here is my outfit...

Teamed with some Henry Holland suspender tights, big black heels, massive red lips I'll be ready to go ;)

Autum

I'm feeling awfully autumnal (I like that word) today :)
I like this time of year, the leaves falling off the leaves blanketing the ground in a crisp golden brown carpet and the cruch of them under foot. Wrapping up in big, warm jumpers and mugs of hot chocolate while curing up in front of the fire with a good book.

I am definalty a winter bunny :)

Topshop, Topshop, Topshop...

So as I am a massive fan of Topshop I decided it would only be fair for me to give their new make up range a go and I have to say I love it! It's also helpful that it's not ridiculously expensive, has a pretty good variety of products and comes in lovely packaging :)

I have to admit at first I was quite sceptical and I really wasn't expecting much from it, but I have been proven wrong and have defiantly changed my mind!

So these are the products I've tried so far....

I have to say I really love this. I got this in light and it does give you a nice light shimmer. I pop a little bit on my cheek bones and mix a little bit in with my foundation. It goes on nice and lightly and doesn't cake and blends in really well :) And for £10 it's a bargin and will last for ages as you only need to use a little bit.

For £10 I think this skin tint is a bargin, it's really good for everyday wear and actually gives a nice, even coverage. It's light and blends in really well. Up to now I have been using Benefit You Rebel tinted moisturiser but I think I'm going to have to change to this as my new fave...the fact it's half the price helps ;)

Thins eye brightener is a must have! I never normally wear concealer under my eyes but due to too many late nights thought it's time to invest. It really did make my eyes look brighter and hid the dreaded bags.

Last but not least is this...

I normally stick to Barry M nail varnish but the brightness of this red really caught my eye and for £5 I thought I'd give it a go. It went on nicely and gave a really nice bright and glossy colour just after one coat! It's lasted three days with only a little bit of chipping on the edges...but I am a terrible nail chewer so this is most probably my fault ;o. This is in Pillar Box Red.

So I will defiantly be spending lot's more pennies on the Topshop make up range! :)

Ciao Europe...it's been fun!

I apologise now for the photo heaviness of this post but I wanted to share a few pictures of my mini adventure :)

I had an A-MEZ-ING time and just want to go back. Although I have to say it was lovely sleeping in my own bed, there really is nothing like your own bed :)

In two weeks we managed to fit in Pars, Brussels, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice and Rome. Berlin was my absolute favourite all round place but I will always be in love with Paris <3>
